  • THE AREA

Nolton Haven nestles right by the sea in the centre of the St Brides Bay coastline. Nolton Haven beach is sandy and slopes gently with interesting rock pools to explore. It is great for sandcastles, swimming, boating, fishing and, with the tide out, for cricket, football, kite-flying, etc, etc!
Newgale, a mile to the north, is well known locally for good surfing www.newsurf.co.uk and there are many other lovely beaches and small villages all along the coastline.
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path passes through the Haven and runs for many miles around the coast, offering beautiful views to walkers.
There is a riding stable close by www.noltonstables.com and along the coast a variety of boat trips can be taken around the islands of Skomer, Skokholm, Ramsey and Grassholm.
A few miles to the north lie Solva, with its pretty harbour, and St David’s; Britain’s smallest city. Both offer plenty of interest and there are many local art galleries and other amenities within the Pembrokeshire National Park and surrounding area.
